Pass and refer list for grading 10/12/2023

First of all well done to all who’ve taken an assessment so far.

To avoid any confusion please read the next part carefully.

If you/your child’s name is on the Pass List: congratulations you/your child has met the required standard to be invited to our grading exam on December 10th.

If you/your child’s name is on the refer list: There is one or more elements that require improvement in order to meet the standard to be invited to the exam. Therefore reassessment is required.

If you or your Childs name is not on either list this means you/they have either not been assessed or that you/they are not eligible for assessment.

Don’t worry if you haven’t made it onto the pass list on the first attempt sensei Aaron will be watching students over the next few weeks and will continue to assess them. if sensei Aaron sees the required improvements then students can move from the refer list to the pass list!

All students on the pass list should begin handing in licenses and fees at the dojo if they wish to participate in the grading for a chance to gain their next belt/grade. Please remember however that even if you have made the pass list you must continue to train hard and try your best to continue improving over the next few weeks as you/they will need to show sensei Ohta the very best in order to pass the grading!

I am happy to answer any questions so please do let me know.

Kind Regards

Aaron Storey
